Katie works with Family Ministry to oversee and coordinate Bent Tree's childcare program, as well as coordinate Sunday morning Elementary Ministry.
About Katie
Katie is passionate about creating safe, joyful spaces where kids feel known, loved, and excited to learn about Jesus. After graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in elementary education, she spent four years teaching in the classroom before following God’s call into ministry. Her background in education and heart for discipleship come together in her role, where she supports families and leads teams with care and purpose. Katie married her husband, Ben, in 2021, and together they love serving the local church and building community.
Katie’s prayer for Bent Tree is that every child, family, and volunteer who walks through the doors would experience the love of Jesus in a real and lasting way. She prays that the church would continue to be a place where people of all ages feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow in their faith.
