John has served at Bent Tree for many years in kids ministry, welcoming, middle school, and now mentoring couples and serving as an elder.
About John
John is Christ-follower; a thankful husband to Amy; a father to A.J., Cassidy, and Brock; and an orthopedic surgeon. Originally from California and educated at the University of California, the University of North Carolina, and Harvard-Massachusetts General Hospital, He is blessed with a gratifying joint replacement practice here in greater North Dallas, Texas. Widely recognized as an educator, speaker, and scientific author, he considers all of this to pale in comparison to "the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus as Lord." (Phil. 3:8)
He and Amy found awesome people everywhere they have served at Bent Tree! They are passionate about Jesus and helping people experience and share the love of Jesus.
