MISSIONS WEEK

September 28 - October 5, 2025

Missions Week is held yearly and is a celebration of all that God has done and is doing through the mission ministries of Bent Tree. Through our Missions Ministry, we support over 60 missionaries around the world, over 30 local projects, and over 35 global projects. During Missions Week, we are blessed to have many of our missionaries and project partners, both locally and around the world, join us for a week of activities and events. It is an amazing opportunity for Bent Tree to meet the actual people out in the missions field and hear about their ministries.

Calendar of Events

September 28 & October 5 - Sunday Morning Services

On September 28, we’re welcoming guest speaker Ed Stetzer to help launch us into Missions Week. Then on October 5, our lead pastor, Libin Abraham, will wrap up Missions Week with a special message. After each service, you’ll have a chance to meet missionaries and mission partners in the lobby; they’d love to share about their work and answer any questions you have.

Join us in person or online at 9 or 11 a.m.

Sunday, September 28, 5:00 PM - Mission Festival

On Sunday evening, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, we invite the entire church to a family-friendly festival. We celebrate with food (dinner, while supplies last) from around the world, games and bounce houses for the kids, and special booths where missionaries showcase items from the country where they serve. Everyone is invited to get a "Passport" and get it stamped by every missionary. Completed "Passports" will be entered into a drawing for discounts on 2026 Adult and Student Mission Journeys. There will be two winners in each category.

Monday, September 29, 6:30 PM - Ethnos Experience

Have you ever wondered what Buddhists, Hindus, or Muslims believe about prayer and Jesus? Join us for a fun, immersive experience called ETHNOS. It's great for the whole family, aged 7 and up. Take a look here.

Wednesday, October 1, 6:30 PM - Stories of the One

Join us on Wednesday night as we pull back the curtain to share more about what God is doing in people's lives around the world. Our missionaries and partners in more sensitive parts of the world will share how God is on the move in some of the toughest places on earth for Christians, but where the Gospel is still advancing.
