Bent Tree Family
The joy of our 50th Anniversary Celebration is still fresh in my heart. We honored the faithfulness of those who came before us while renewing our commitment to the future God has prepared for us.
Our theme—“50 Years of Reshaping Our World with the Love of Jesus”—was more than a description of our history. It is the continuing story of what Jesus is doing in and through Bent Tree
This year, nearly 3,000 people participated in worship each week across our ministries and online. More than 1,900 adults found meaningful community in 242 small groups. We celebrated 69 baptisms, each representing a person publicly declaring new life in Christ. More than 1,250 people served in some capacity, offering their gifts so that others could encounter Jesus and experience his love.
We also continued to carry the love of Jesus beyond our campus. One hundred and three students and adults participated in 14 mission journeys. Our church collected more than 6,000 pounds of food, helped provide food assistance to 636 families, and walked alongside 184 families through our benevolence ministry. Through your extraordinary generosity, $8.7 million was given to support ministry, missions, and care for people in need.
These numbers are worth celebrating, but they do not tell the whole story. They cannot fully capture the prayers offered, children encouraged, students discipled, families supported, guests welcomed, or quiet acts of generosity that happen every week. Much of the most important ministry at Bent Tree will never appear in a report—but God sees it all.
Thank you for the ways you worship, serve, lead, pray, give, and make room for others. This ministry is possible because the people of Bent Tree continue to offer themselves to Jesus and to one another.
I am deeply hopeful about our future. We will continue investing in the next generation, helping people find meaningful community, creating spaces where every person can be known and loved, and equipping one another to live on mission. We will keep seeking the Spirit’s leadership as we become a church increasingly compelled by love, united in diversity, gifted with purpose, and sent on mission.
For fifty years, God has reshaped our world through the people of Bent Tree. Now, we have blessed with the opportunity to carry that story forward.

In the past year, we've been all about living out our mission to experience and share the love of Jesus. We sent 103 adults and students on 14 mission journeys. We teamed up with our supported mission partners right here in Dallas and went as far as North Macedonia. These journeys aren't just about going places; they're about making a real impact. Whether it's helping out in our Dallas community or working with mission partners across the globe, these journeys are what our mission is all about—experiencing and sharing the love of Jesus.
