Making a difference here and around the world.
As Jesus expresses his life through us, we live out his heart for the nations. People tangibly experience Jesus' compassion as we meet their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. This opens wide the door to sharing the good news of Jesus. The following is a list of possible student Mission Journeys. We require that our students attend all three meetings and a social before their mission journey. For Adult Mission Journeys, click here.

Dallas
We will serve alongside Together We Thrive, which partners with and reaches out to poverty-stricken residents of the Dallas community. Together We Thrive is arranging for students to serve with different ministries they partner with. The Dallas mission journey will allow students to serve in an urban setting close to home.
Joni and Friends
This mission journey will help run the Joni and Friends Family Retreat recreation classes. Joni and Friends Family Retreat offers a haven for families living with a disability. In a fun, fully accessible camp environment, families are cared for, rejuvenated, and encouraged in Christ. The Family Retreat is located in Navasota, Texas, just south of College Station. Students will help engage the special needs friends and siblings in daily outdoor activities and share the good news of Jesus with them. They will also participate in other activities at the camp with the families.
Nashville
This journey will consist of ministry in several forms. Some areas of service may include serving meals, hearing stories at emergency shelters and rehabilitation programs, providing medical supplies, packing Bibles and other resources for third-world countries at a warehouse, spending time with children at daycare facilities and assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and ministering to guests at a local food pantry.
Lousiana
We will work alongside one of our missionary partners, Martín Rangel, to serve at El Centro Bíblico de la Communidad, a church in Baton Rouge, Lousiana. Our students will run a VBS to engage with the kids in the neighborhood and create fellowship. El Centro Biblico is a small church largely run by volunteers that does not currently host a VBS specifically for their community. This church is very family oriented. While many kids speak spanish and English, many parents only know Spanish. Our team will also help with an ESL (English second language) class one evening to connect with the families.
Roatan
We will work alongside Travis Morin at Mission Roatán Fellowship, Inc.. Roatán is an island off of Honduras. This journey will consist of ministry in several forms. Some areas of service may include: helping with a feeding program for kids, running a VBS at a local church, work projects, serving meals as part of the dump ministry. This mission journey involves traveling with a passport. Students must have up to date documentation to pass through customs.
Alaska
We will work alongside two of our missionary partners, Jeffry and Deborah Butter, to serve at Seldovia, a native Alaskan village. Our students will run a sports camp to engage with the kids in the village and create fellowship. We hope that our students will encourage the kids in the village to go to church and find their community within the church.
Guatemala
This mission journey will be to Village of Hope in the beautiful mountains of Guatemala. Village of Hope provides loving homes and care for children who have been removed from their families due to abuse. Our team will provide activities for the children that will enrich their lives and will point them to Jesus.
