Carol serves on the elder team as we seek to guard, guide, and govern the body of Christ at Bent Tree.
About Carol
Carol has spent the majority of her adult life in Plano, Texas. She has been married to her husband, George, since 1982. Together, they have three grown children and six grandchildren. Carol dedicated over 40 years to her career as a nurse and nurse practitioner before retiring in 2023. She has a deep passion for studying the Bible and helping others grow in their knowledge of God. In addition, she is passionate about global missions, having traveled extensively and witnessed God's work in many parts of the world.
Carol's prayer for Bent Tree is that as we grow, we will become a multi-cultural church with people of all ages growing in Jesus. She prays that we will come to truly understand our identity in Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our lives into Christ-likeness. Carol also prays that Bent Tree remains firmly grounded in Biblical teaching, with each member deepening their knowledge, understanding, and application of God's Word. She asks that we stay devoted to prayer and continue our firm commitment to local and global missions so that others can experience the life-transforming love of Jesus. She prays that, as a church, we remain sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we continue to worship together, be known, and make a difference.
