About Mark

I’m a follower of Jesus disguised as a husband, dad, and sales guy. I’ve been married to Tiffany since 2007, and we have two kids. I am half Japanese and half German in heritage — two-thirds of the Axis powers!

My dream for Bent Tree is for us to be a church that people see Jesus in — through the way we love, lead, care, and share the gospel and his transformative power. I pray that we’ll see to it that no one misses Christ’s grace, and, as Jesus says in John 13, I pray that everyone will know we are his disciples because we love one another. I also dream that people from all generations and backgrounds would find Bent Tree to be a place they can call their church home.

I love Bent Tree. It is such a big part of my story. I am thankful for it and the legacy it has left in my life.
