The Good News

The Good News

The good news of the gospel is that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. This gift is freely given and cannot be earned or deserved. To receive it, one must simply say yes to Jesus and place their faith in him. Jesus died on the cross to take care of our sin problem and to give us eternal life with God. Make a decision to follow Jesus here.

Communion, also known as The Lord’s Table, is one of the ordinances of the Church. Jesus instructed us to practice this significant meal together “in remembrance of me” (1 Cor. 11:23-25; Luke 22:18-20; Mark 14:22-25). When we gather around the Lord’s Table once a month, we pause to reflect on and celebrate all that Christ did, so that we could be in union with him. Christ's love made us right with God through his crucifixion and resurrection, and when we placed our faith in him, we died and were raised to new life in him. Thus, a vital part of our corporate worship is to thank God for making us truly alive, fully accepted, completely loved, and intimately known.

Baptism is a significant sacrament in the Christian faith. It symbolizes a believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through baptism, a person publicly declares their faith and commitment to follow Jesus. It is an outward expression of an inward change and an opportunity for believers to testify publicly to their faith in Jesus Christ.
