Next steps for mission journeys.
Before you follow the steps listed below, please take the time to seek the Lord in prayer as we remember that, "The mind of a man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9).
Submit an online application. Applications will be available after our January Mission Journey Kickoff. Once the application has been submitted, you will be contacted by the team leader.
Make sure that your passport is current.
*Please note: Passports must be valid within six months after your return to the U.S.A.
Make sure that you have your personal health insurance in place. This is a requirement for all Bent Tree mission journeys.
Your initial, non-refundable deposit will be collected at the first team meeting, or you can pay online using the button below. You will sign the required Bent Tree participant forms at your first team meeting (download and print them in advance using the button below). In addition, they will need to scan a copy of your passport, driver’s license, and health insurance card. This information will be kept in a secure location on our server. Your team leader will direct you as to how this will be done.
Commit to attend all team meetings, including the debrief meeting upon your return.
Obtain immunizations based on destination requirements provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Your health care provider and team leader can also make recommendations.
Raise individual prayer and financial support for your mission journey. Your mission journey leader will go through this with you during training sessions.
