Reach Out to Your Neighbors

We want to intentionally offer kindness and hope to those around us during this challenging time. One way we want to do this together as a church is through loving our neighbors!

So, pull out those extra gift bags you have in storage and fill them with a few snacks, extra soap and food items. Write a personal note to your neighbor, letting them know that you’re there for them. Include a prayer or a verse of encouragement and even include your phone number if they need someone to talk to during this time of social distancing.

This season is going to be especially difficult for the elderly, the immunocompromised and those struggling with depression. People are feeling more alone and isolated than ever and we want to offer the hope and comfort of Jesus and the arms of community, even if it has to be at a distance.

Download this note and hand it out in your neighborhood or apartment complex.

You can tag Bent Tree Bible in a social media post and add the hashtag #BeTheChurchBentTree so we can connect as a community and pray for one another’s neighbors.
