Why do we give?

As a church, we believe that we are called to respond to the generosity of the gospel by giving extravagantly to the progress of the gospel in our community and world. Biblical generosity is not about meeting budget needs. It is about a rich and trusting relationship with a living God. We express our faith and love to Him by honoring Him as the source of everything we have. 

Is giving online secure?

Whether you’d like to give a single gift, schedule recurring donations, or view your giving history, you can do it all online. It’s quick, easy, and secure. Both Online Giving and Bent Tree maintain full Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance via the SecurityMetrics PCI Certification Program, which means your data is rigorously protected through the industry's strictest equipment safeguards and security protocols. That means you can give with confidence!

What is the budget for Bent Tree?

Our general operating budget is $6.4 million. Our missions budget is $1.3 million. These budgets are for fiscal year ending July 31, 2025. You can see a breakdown of our budget here. 

How is the budget created, approved, and managed?

In collaboration with our ministry departments, Bent Tree’s internal finance and teams create a comprehensive budget focused on aligning our resources with Bent Tree’s mission to experience and share the love of Jesus. The Elder Board approves the budget and provides regular accountability to the executive team in managing the budget throughout the year.

How does Bent Tree prepare for the unexpected?

With direction from our Elder Board, we set aside funds to maintain some reserves for the unknown. We have processes to track every dollar in and out of Bent Tree, with monthly reporting for each department.

Does Bent Tree have any debt?

Thanks to the generosity of the donors of Bent Tree, we are able to say that Bent Tree is debt free.

Can I give by mail?

Yes, check or cash gifts can be mailed to 4141 International Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75007. Attention: Accounting.

Can I give by text?

How do I give a stock gift?

Please contact your broker to see what information they require to make the transfer, then contact for specific transfer instructions.

At Bent Tree, the General Ministry Fund plays a crucial role in supporting the church's mission and ministry efforts. Your donation to this fund helps to ensure that the church can continue to offer a wide variety of ministry programming and discipleship events, groups, serving opportunities, and building operations. The General Ministry Fund is responsible for covering all budgeted expenses, including the salaries of pastors and staff, as well as the costs of maintaining and improving the church's facilities. By giving to this fund, you are investing in the future of Bent Tree and helping to ensure that the church can continue to carry out its mission of experiencing and sharing the love of Jesus.

Missions Fund

Missions Fund Giving is how Bent Tree funds our Missions budget. Your gifts to missions are donations beyond giving to the general fund and extend Bent Tree’s missions initiatives here and around the world. When you give to the Missions Fund, 100% of your giving goes to support our Mission Strategy. None of it is used for overhead or staff salaries.
